Argument Values:
Ethos argument 10 points, Pathos argument 5 points, Logos argument 10 points
Rebuttal: 0 to 10 points.
How it works:
1. I'll choose team captains and judges.
2. Class vote on topic selection.
3. Coin toss: decides who takes what side of the chosen issue.
4. Each team member will construct an argument (definition or proposal) that supports the team's argumentative position--submit in written copy, emailed document, or just use the form below.
5. Team as a whole will acknowledge counter arguments and present some minor defense of the team position.
6. Team presentation of arguments.
7. Team regrouping and creation of rebuttals for the other team's arguments.
8. Teams present one rebuttal argument focused on the primary opposition claims against their argument.
9. Scores added up--fabulous prize awarded to the winning team.
